Abstract

This diploma thesis deals with the impact of road constuctions on environment. The introductory section is characterized by the historical development of transport and road construction in our country. The next chapter deals with the basic concepts of the road construction. Follows legislation relating to road construction projects. Then followed by a description of the effects of road construction on the individual components of the environment. The final section is devoted to description of the practical application of previously acquired knowledge on the issue of the impact of road construction on the environment in urban cities.
