Abstract
The theme of my Diploma´s essay is Managing of Human Resources. I target on field of Employee Appraisal System. My work is divided into two parts: theoretical and practical. The first is characteristic of the chosen organization – Regional office – Moravian-Silesian Region. In the theoretical part I describe problems of Employee Appraisal System using specialized literature, which is important for understanding the practical part. The practical part targets on analysis of Employee Appraisal System in Regional office by internal documents, interviews with manager of human resources and questionnaires. Next, I evaluate responses and then I verify the hypotheses. In the conclusion I propose an innovation in specific areas.
The main goal of this diploma´s essay is:
• To analyze the present Employee Appraisal System of public administration at Regional office of Moravian-Silesian Region. The participation of this system on employee motivation and performance.
• To propose an innovation in the present Employee Appraisal System that could provide development, effectiveness and satisfaction of employees.
The outcome of this diploma´s essay is:
• An opinion survey among employees of Regional office in Annual Employee Appraisal System that can serve as a stimulus for changes for a department of human resources.
• A suggestion for changes in innovation of present process of appraisal system in areas of: corporate culture, annual appraisal system, continuous evaluation, self-appraisal and change of criteria of appraisal system.
