Řešení statické dopravy v centrální části Ostravy

Abstract

This work focuses on the problem of static traffic in the central part of Ostrava. The boundaries of the central part had to be defined. In this area was surveyed existing parking capacity. According to the number of inhabitants was determinated the required number of parking spaces and stabling parking spaces for residential buildings. According to a number of shops and services was determined the required number of parking spaces for objects amenities. Evaluation was conducted and it was found the current balance of parking in the central part of the city of Ostrava. The results were compared with those from a study by UDI Morava s.r.o. from 2009. It has been suggested several possible solutions to increase parking capacity and to improve serviceability center of Ostrava.
