Abstract

When using internet services, it is necessary to use strong passwords, that are long and contain random characters, so they cannot be easily guessed. Remembering them is very difficult, if not impossible, which is why a program called a password manager is needed. This program is used to securely store passwords in one place. A password manager can offer features such as password generation, checking for passwords in data breaches and ability to backup to remote storage. The goal of this bachelor thesis is to implement such a password manager with a graphical user interface, that takes care of memory security.
