Abstract
This thesis is focused on description of aluminium alloys, microstructure and their defects. Various types of material porosity were characterized in practical part of thesis. The samples were taken from alloy 3xx (Al-7Si-0.3Mg) and analyzed by optical microscopy and Image-Pro plus software made by Media Cybernetics.
