Financování projektu přeshraniční spolupráce mezi Českým Těšínem a Cieszynem

Abstract

The goal of thesis is to show financing cross-border cooperation between Český Těšín and Cieszyn on concrete example. These two cities lie on the border of the Czech Republic and Poland and they are separated from each other by River Olše. Specifically, the thesis describes the creation and realization of common project Revitalpark 2010, which aimed to revitalized two adjoining city parks, which are separated by River Olše, and make place more attractive for general schema_dspacedb. Of course it helps tourism and it builts decent place for historical monuments. The project was financed by Operational Programme Cross-border Cooperation CZ-PL 2007-2013. In the theoretical part accession of the Czech Republic into EU is described and implementation of European law into Czech law. There is characterized cross-border cooperation between countries in EU also and the issues of Euroregions and possibilities how to finance projects from budget of EU. The practical part analyzes history of project from initial idea to realization. Accent is placed on organizational aspects of project and financing. The thesis provides information how to use funds from EU and it could be recipe for other potential applicants.
