This presented thesis deals with issues treatment of waste from metallurgical industry. Briefly describes wastes resulting from this kind of industry, their basic properties, and possibilities of disposal and recycling. Also describes
laws of physics related with magnetic separation and magnetic separators. In the experimental chapters of the detailed chemical composition, magnetic properties and analysis of selected types of metallurgical wastes by magnetic separators, especially
for sludge and dusts.
