Abstract

The thesis deals with breathing mixture composition in Dräger BG 4 oxygen breathing apparatus. It is structured into three chapters. The first chapter deals with legislative aspects of air quality in work environment. The next chapter deals with the design of Dräger BG 4 breathing apparatus and its latest improvements. The third chapter describes a physical experiment aimed at determination of breathing mixture composition in Dräger BG 4 apparatus. At the end, the thesis summarizes the quality of the breathing mixture during workload simulation on a bicycle ergometer. Its results can be beneficial for both general and professional public dealing with fire protection and mine rescue works.
