Abstract

The subject of this thesis is an analysis and evaluation of economic indicators at sandstone cutting by water beam in workshop of Kámen Ostroměř Company. The first part is focused on the characteristics of society. In this part is the characteristics of Kámen Ostroměř company and brief history of mining in the quarry in Podhorní Újezd. The second part of the thesis is focused on the characteristics of classic sandstone cutting technology wire saws. Here is described this technology. Another part of the thesis focuses on the characterization technology cutting sandstone with a water jet. This section describes the individual components explained waterjet. The penultimate part of the thesis is focused on the technical and economic indicators of sandstone cutting with wire saw and water jet. Here are the individual indicators. Subsequently, the calculated costs for waterjet cutting sandstone and wire saw. The last part of the thesis deals with the comparison of the two technologies cutting sandstone. This part consists mainly of advantages disadvantages of each technology to their final evaluation.
