Abstract

The aim of this thesis is to describe the methods used for inventory management, inventory management system to analyze and suggest possible improvements to the current situation. The work is focused mainly on the methods used for inventory management. And this particular analysis, ABC and XYZ analysis. Furthermore, an analysis of stocks, giving the stock turnover and turnaround times for stocks. The conclusion is made on the recommendation of a new draft safety stock. The new proposal covers the most important items, namely items of material falling into group A. A new method of inventory management is recommended for group AX, AY and AZ group differently.
