Konfigurátory automobilů a jejich vnitřní struktury pro závislé komponenty

Abstract

This master's thesis, which is following the work done in a previous bachelor's thesis, discusses changes of configuration applications of car manufacturers and explores in more depth the functions of third-party services focused on car sales. In addition to modifying and modernising the configuration system and the configuration application enabling configuration with dependent components of car models of various brands by using a unified configuration data structure, the thesis also focuses on expanding available configuration data of other car manufacturers and other available data, such as technical parameters of cars, their safety ratings and sales statistics. Much of this data is then used in the implementation of a car recommender system, which offers the ability to recommend the most similar specific car configurations across brands.
