Abstract

The program of the countryside development „Leader“ was focused on the positive influence on improvement of the life quality in villages, strengthening the economic environment, natural and cultural heritage. By means of this program the local action groups created and implemented the developing strategies and intentions to meet the target. The bachelor thesis evaluate activity and management of MAS Horní Pomoraví, o.p.s. with focus on supported subjects by means of the Strategic plan Leader (SPL) in the term of 2007-2013. The overall aim SPL „In harmony with nature“ was competitiveness and balanced development of the region. MAS stated the complex of measures – FICHE measures, which restricted the areas of support under the measure Leader IV.1.2 Implementation of the local developing strategy for the definitive applicant for subsidy on implementation of the project. This type of support had the significant meaning for region development, supported the subjects of business, non-profit and public sphere. The implementation SPL contributed to the region development, reinforcement of public facilities, development of business opportunities and improvement of life quality in the region MAS Horní Pomoraví.
