Problematika těžby uranu loužením ve Stráži pod Ralskem

Abstract

The purpose of the thesis is to introduce In Situ leach mining of uranium and subsequent processing of solutions in a chemical station. At first, the area of interest of mining is characterized followed by the chapter describing the history of uranium mining in Stráž pod Ralskem. Then the focus is on the underground leaching process itself. The thesis describes the requirement for the use of the leaching process, possible ways of leaching and also describes processing the chemical solutions in chemical station and technologies used in the process, comming hand in hand with hydrogeological consqeuences in the locality. The last chapter compares drying an aqueous suspension in parallel with underground and chemical mining with the new method of drying for remediation along with a proposal to make drying line more effective.
