Ekonomicko-právní pohled na českou investigativní žurnalistiku

Abstract

This bachelor thesis entitled 'Economic and Legal View of the Czech Investigative Journalism' provides evaluation of the legal and ethical framework for investigative journalism in the Czech Republic. The work focuses on the description of journalism ethics, laws defining the limits of comparing Czech investigative journalism and detailet analysis of their relationship. Although the state's legal system is fixed, it should be based on ethics. The right to freedom of expression and the right to information are compared in more detail. Both these laws are also constitutionally estabilished as basic human rights. Part of the thesis is also an analysis of the causes and consequences of investigative journalism in two major economic scandals of Czech history. The theme is targeted to the general public through articles and interviews.
