Zhodnocení vzájemných vztahů Ukrajiny a Evropské unie a jejich budoucnosti

Abstract

This bachelor thesis is devoted to the topic of the relationship of Ukraine and the European Union and the prospects for their future cooperation. The work is divided into three chapters. The first chapter is devoted to the presentation of Ukraine from the point of view of the basic characteristics. The second part of the work describes and characterizes the historical development of relations between Ukraine and the European Union. The third part is devoted to the assessment of the current relations between Ukraine and the European Union. The aim of the bachelor thesis is to evaluate the relations between Ukraine and the European Union and the prospects of their future development based on the background of historical and current events. The conclusion of the thesis confirms that the development of Ukraine's relations with the European Union was not easy, but Ukraine has the possibility of obtaining the status of an EU candidate country, which will mean great challenges for the country, but at the same time great opportunities from a political and economic point of view. If this happens, the accession process itself will be very long and difficult, given the internal reforms that Ukraine has yet to implement and in view of obtaining a unified position of the EU member states on the further enlargement of the EU.
