Abstract
This graduation thesis deals with design and implementation of automatic paint shop application by a programmable logic controller Omron in a company Kovo Sipox. The control uses three compact controllers from the company Omron - class CP1H and CP1L with expanding input-output units CP1W. The controllers are interconnected via serial bus RS485 and serial communication protocol Omron serial PLC link. The visualization of paint shop is solved by three touch visualization terminals Omron NS5. Alternate asynchronous motors for controlling movement of each individual axis of the paint shop from a company Lenze are controlled by scalar frequency convertors J7 from the company Omron. All electrical equipments, sensors, motors and distribution boxes that are used in the paint shop meet the cover Ex II3G Eex de IIA T2 IP54. This certificate allows the use of electrical equipments in an environment where flammable liquids are used. The control program is created in a development environment CX Programmer by the ladder diagrams. The visualization terminals are created in a development environment CX Designer.
