Abstract
This bachelor thesis deals with discrimination on the labour market in the Czech Republic. The aim was to assess the situation of persons aged 50+. The first part of the thesis sets out the theoretical basis of the issue, including legislation and forms of defence. The second part of the work evaluates a questionnaire survey of 165 respondents relating to a group of people aged 50 +. The results show that discrimination is still a problem for the Czech labour market and consequently recommendations are proposed for a possible solution to the problem.
