Vyhledávání českých regionů a měst uživateli Google

Abstract

This thesis deals with statistics of searching Czech regions and towns in the web search engine Google. The theoretical part includes explanations of preferences for localities, a social capital, and a concept and tools of Google. Short descriptions of Yahoo´s and Seznam´s statistical applications follow. The main topic of the thesis covers a tool Google Insights, which displays statistics of the web search engine Google. The tool´s inputs and outputs, a possibility of results quantification and created quantities are described. The following part is focused on a way of Google Insights questioning and a results processing. The next part contains a presentation and an interpretation of results for Czech towns and tourist destinations according to a several different point of views.
