Abstract

The diploma thesis introduces us to the history of the o. z. Karviná and its resources. The objectives of the EU regulation for the EU, the objectives of the EU regulation for individual states and the objectives of the EU regulation for the o. z. Karviná, resulting from the objectives for all owners, operators and importers of methane emission sources, are described. The following chapter presents selected parts of the regulation relating to the o. z. Karviná with a summary of the obligations imposed on all owners, operators and importers of methane emission sources. The next part of the diploma thesis presents an analysis of the current state of methane emission sources in the o. z. Karviná. The fifth chapter presents available technologies for the implementation of the EU regulation, including those that are under research. The practical part contains a proposal and procedure for solving the EU regulation with an economic analysis of costs and an assumption of return according to the concentrations of methane emissions from the sources. The conclusion is a summary of the diploma thesis, its evaluation and possible use.
