Abstract
Topic of these bachelor´s work is, Use of EU Structural Funds for Retraining Courses in the District of Kroměříž. This theme was chosen because of growing labour market problems in the region. The problems can be inhibited by one of the most famous instruments of employment policy that is, using retraining courses. Also in this sphere can be used funds from EU structural funds.
The second chapter deal with the formation EC regional policy, its meaning and the principles on which RP is based. The chapter also focuses on the structural funds, which are in this programming period available. Described are the previous programming period 200 – 2006, and the current programming period 2007 – 2013. There are also mentioned operational programs of the Czech Republic. Conclusion of the chapter is devoted to the OP LZZ.
At the beginning of the third chapter is briefly characterized by the active employment policy and function of the Job centre of the Czech Republic. Rest of the chapter is devoted to the activities Job centre, regional offices in Zlín, Kroměříž contact in the workplace, and too labour market in the district.
The fourth chapter, called Assessment of retraining courses undertaken Job Centre in Kroměříž within OP LZZ, is dedicated to the active employment policy instruments such as the activity of two selected Regional individual projects (RIP). Implementer of these projects is Regional office of Czech job centre in Zlín. In the position of the contact department of regional office is the implementer the Job centre in Kroměříž too. Retraining courses, that take place in the monitored area, are being co-financed by the ESF as part of the RIP.
The aim is to evaluate these retraining courses and related selected RIP in this district and compare evaluated results of Kroměříž district with the overall results of the Zlín region and other districts in this region. Evaluation is based primarily on the interests of job seekers from target groups of both projects to engage in this activity, successful completion of activities, and also successful placement of graduates after the completion of the project activities into the work process.
