Abstract
Technical building survey of timber structures is an important step to determine the
actual condition of the structure, to determine the defects and failures and subsequent
draft redevelopment construction. From a material point of view, information about the
quality and condition of used materials is mainly obtained.
This bachelor thesis deals with the execution of the technical building survey focusing
on the moisture of timber structure - the barn in Velké Karlovice. The survey instrument
were used to determine the moisture content, specifically capacitive material moisture
meter GMK 100, resistive tip electric hygrometer WHT 650 ELBEZ, and the density of
wood instrument Pilodyn 6J. In conclusion of the thesis, the applications of various used
methods were evaluated.
