Vztahy EU a Švýcarska

Abstract

Cílem mé diplomové práce je analyzovat ekonomicko-politické vztahy mezi EU a Švýcarskem s důrazem na formu spolupráce, vzájemné přibližování a možnosti jejich budoucí spolupráce.

Práce popisuje historický vývoj a základní charakteristiku oblasti, včetně místních specifik, čímž představuje profil a ekonomické zaměření země. Zabývá se postavením Švýcarska v ESVO a následným formováním vztahů s EU, které bylo uskutečňováno především prostřednictvím tzv. bilaterálních dohod. Jako nejdůležitější z bilaterálních dohod je popsána participace Švýcarska v Dublinském a Schengenském prostoru. Práce se taktéž věnuje výsledkům referend s návazností na EU.

Závěrečná část zachycuje dopady globální krize na ekonomiku Švýcarska, včetně opatření, která byla na její oživění přijata. Dále práce analyzuje, zda a jaký vliv mají švýcarské politické strany – zejména Švýcarská lidová strana - na utváření názoru obyvatel jednotlivých kantonů vůči agendě evropské integrace. Závěrem se soustředí na souhrn rizik a předpokladů vstupu Švýcarska do EU.

Práce je doplněna mnoha grafy a tabulkami, které znázorňují výsledky zkoumání dané problematiky.

The goal of my Diploma thesis is to analyse economic and political relations between the EU and Switzerland with emphasis on the partnership form, mutual approach and the options of their future cooperation.

Thesis describes the historical development and basic area´s characteristic, including local specificities, whereby presents the profile and economic country´s direction. It deals with the Switzerland´s position in the EFTA and then with formation of the relations with the EU that was realized through the bilateral agreements. The most importatnt of them is the Switzerland´s participation in Dublin and Schengen area. Thesis also devotes to the referendum´s results with the sequence on the EU.

Final part records global crisis´s impacts on the Switzerland´s economy including dispocals which were accepted. Thesis further analyses if and what influence do swiss political parties have – above all the Swiss People´s Party – on the formation people´s opinion in particular cantons toward the EU´s agenda. In conclusion it focuses on the summary of the Switzerland´s access hazards and possibilities to the EU.

Diploma thesis is completed by many graphs and tables which demonstrate the results of the thesis´s guestions investigation.
