Abstract
The main aim of the thesis was finding the best tools of technical analysis for stock index futures trading. In this thesis, I focused mainly on the US stock index futures.
In the first part, the technical analysis and its methods were characterized. The next part was concentrated on financial derivatives with particular attention on stock index futures contracts.
The third part was dedicated to finding the best tools and methods of technical analysis for future development prediction. The fourth part was focused on practical utilization of these methods.
At the close of the thesis were described the results of trading system from the testing on historical data and the analysis of trading system.
