Selected engineering internet tools in machinery design

Abstract

The problem of data processing and specially technical data processing in small and medium machinery industry enterprises is considered in the paper. The computer support in data processing is described. The data bases technology is proposed for storage, processing and access to the technical documentation data. The computer tools for engineering data bases creation are discussed. The internet application to engineering data bases creation is described as example. In this example the international sino-polish design office is established. Internet system is proposed for remote engineering data management during the design process. The language conversion in the design documentation is specially discussed.
