Abstract
This thesis focuses on evaluating the process of employee selection and adaptation in the selected company XY. Employee selection and adaptation are key factors in human resource management. The thesis is divided into theoretical and practical parts. In the theoretical part, the reader is familiarized with models and objectives of human resource management, methods and principles of acquiring and selecting human resources, new trends in employee recruitment, and employee adaptation, with the help of professional literature. The practical part introduces the company XY, followed by a questionnaire survey among employees. The aim of the thesis is to analyze the selection and adaptation of employees in the logistics company XY and propose measures that will lead to improvement and streamlining of the process. These recommendations will be based on theoretical knowledge, the questionnaire survey conducted within the organization, and interviews with company representatives.
