Abstract
Dissertation thesis describes the origin and development of tools for optimizing the operation of the power system with integrated renewable resources. The emergence and development of the so called Solver platform which is software for finding the optimal power system topology with regard to the predicted information on the consumption and production of electricity in selected nodes analyzed system there is explained. The function Solver Platform is explained by the interaction of the basic elements in each chapter. The development of a mathematical model of the analyzed power system as well as a graphical user interface as extensions to the mathematical apparatus of the Solver platform is also described below. The paper also contains a system of selecting the optimal network topology with respect to the results obtained by calculating the parameters of the analyzed system for type situation.
