Abstract
The thesis deals with the design and implementation of a control system for a pressing station. The aim of the thesis was to create an application that would allow the control of the press and the monitoring of the pressing process. Within the theoretical part of the thesis, an introduction to the pressing process and pressing stations is given. This is followed by an analysis of the sensors used to measure force and position within the pressing process. The theoretical part of the thesis is followed by an analysis of the press used and an introduction to its parts. The practical part of the thesis deals with the design of partial applications of the control system and their implementation. These applications are the control application designed to control the servoelectric press, created in the TiaPortal program, the data acquisition application designed to measure and subsequently evaluate the pressing process, and the HMI panel, created in the LabVIEW program. At the end of the work, an evaluation of the results will be made.
