Konverze přádelny na domov pro seniory, Brno - Obřany.

Abstract

Cílem diplomové práce je revitalizace areálu bývalých textilních závodů (Esslerovy přádelny) situovaných na ostrově na řece Svitavě v Brně-Obřanech. Z původních budov nacházejících sev areálu byla zachována pouze budova přádelny, která po rekonstrukci bude sloužit novému účelu – domovu pro seniory. Na zbývající ploše ostrova bude navržen park pro potřeby domova i místních obyvatel. Břehy řeky a ostrov budou propojeny mosty pro snadný přístup domovu seniorů ze strany parku. Pro oživení a propojení místa s blízkým okolím budou na břehu navrženy dva nové bytové domy s komerčním využitím parteru.

The topic of Diplom Project is the revitalization of the textile factories (Essler‘s Laundry) situated on an island in the river Svitava in Brno-Obřany. From the original buildings located in the area only the spinning mill building has been preserved. After reconstruction this building will be serving with a new purpose - Home for the Elderly. The rest of the area on the island will be designed as the park which is meeting the needs of residents. The banks of the river and the island will be connected by bridges for an easy access to seniors' homes. There will be built the two new apartment houses with commercial use of parterre on the bank of the river.
