Abstract

The subject of the bachelor thesis is the study of invasive plant daisy lanceolate Symphyotrichum lanceolatum that was observed on the slopes of the dump Ema at the area of Ostrava city. The first theoretical part refers to the characteristics of the area of interest. The origin of the heap, its description and also natural conditions. The problematics of the invasive species in territory of the Czech republic is consistently mentioned in this thesis. After the introduction the thesis is focused on the description of the respective invasive species – aster lanceolate (Symphyotrichum lanceolatum). The second part is focused on methodology of data processing based on field practices and laboratories. Laboratory aids and help of excel tables were used. Procedures for processing samples are described as well as soil seed bank dump of the samples that were taken in the field.
