Abstract

This bachelor thesis focuses on a gravel-sand deposit in the newly designated mining area Březce I, which follows on from the already exhausted Březce mining site. The introductory part of the thesis evaluates the condition of the original deposit and continues with a proposal for ongoing extraction activities in the Březce I area. It then elaborates on the geological, technical, and legislative conditions of mining, including a proposal for mine opening, extraction method, and a reclamation plan for the area after mining is completed. The thesis also includes an evaluation of the proposed solution. The work contains an indicative economic assessment confirming the profitability of the proposed mining approach.
