Abstract
The thesis deals with a location and design of commercial harbor in Ostrava. The
solution is based on an urban study which seek for the most appropriate site for the
port in the urban context. Work is focused on creating a new business - administrative
center in the selected location. The mlutifunctional building was design as the
dominant territory in axis of harbor basin.
