Abstract

The thesis is elaborated on the subject of Evaluation of the Competitiveness of a Small Business. It is divided into theoretical and practical part, a total of seven main chapters. It consists of an introduction, description of the issues of competitiveness and related concepts, characteristics of selected evaluation methods (PEST analysis, Porter's theory of competitive forces, customer satisfaction, method of pairwise comparison of criteria and a SWOT analysis). In the next chapter introduces the company, which is applied to the practical part work. Chosen was a fitness center in Valasske Mezirici. The practical part of the various methods that have been described in the theoretical part used for this particular venture. Following synthesis and recommendations, which are suggestions for improving the current situation of the company. The overall evaluation of the work is carried out in the end . The thesis contains supplements.
