Využití Business Inteligence v podnikové praxi

Abstract

This thesis deals with the technology of Business Intelligence and how it is used within the organization. The aim was to develop analysis and design solutions to the BI tools in practice, the decision-making process. Using dashboards and reports, it was demonstrated how to easily handle corporate data from various sources, and their subsequent transformation into useful information for strategic management. The theoretical part describes the basic terminology related to the topic. Was also introduced Business Intelligence technology itself and its individual components and principles of application. The practical part includes a brief description of the work of selecting BI tools, including the suggestion of his career prospects, particularly in selected business areas of OKD, as, like manufacturing, finance and human resources departments. The practical implementation had used one of the BI tools - BellaDati, which is based on the principle of cloud computing - Software as a Service.
