Abstract
The thesis focuses on the competitiveness of a small company trading agricultural equipment.
The objective is to establish whether the company is able to compete with its products on the ever changing market and to surpass competition during a period of economic recession. I analyzed competition on the given market, strengths and weaknesses of the company, its opportunities and threats. I also performed an interpretation of its potential and suggested possible solutions for the company´s future.
The data were provided by CRS Marketing, s.r.o. in an interview with the respective CEO, I also employed my own findings acquired during internship program in the company. I profited from agriculture exhibition TECHAGRO 2008 in Brno visited while working in CRS Marketing, s.r.o. and retrieved an important piece of information regarding competition. The objective of the thesis is to improve competitiveness of a small company and to offer other possibilities to fight the competitive pressure and to better fulfill ever increasing demands of today´s customers.
