Abstract

This bachelor thesis deals with the issue of heat transfer in a fire, especially heat transfer by radiation, methods for determining separation distances and the negative effects of fire on the escaping person. The work is divided into several parts. In the first two parts of the bachelor thesis described the basic distribution of fires, a description of the conditions necessary for its creation and definitions of the various modes of heat transfer. Further are described the possibilities of protection against heat transfer by radiation. The fourth and the fifth part describes the methods for the determination of separation distances from the building objects. In the next chapter are described the negative effects of fire on the escaping person. The last part of the thesis contains an evaluation of the above issues.
