This thesis deals with the safe use of sky lanterns. The first chapter deals with sky lantern definition. The second chapter deals with the history and present of sky lanterns. There are also fires, which are in connection with sky lanterns. The third chapter deals with the legislation on the sky lanterns. The fourth chapter describes the material used sky lanterns. The fifth chapter summarizes the knowledge of the use of sky lanterns. The sixth chapter deals with practical tests sky lanterns. The seventh chapter is the proposal to appropriate safety instructions and instructions for use sky lanterns.
