Abstract

This work focuses on the design and implementation of a library for representing general multilayer networks, with an emphasis on extensibility and support for simple single-layer and multiplex networks. The implementation provides a representation of the general multilayer framework and a set of computational and visualization methods for simple single-layer and multiplex networks. The functionality and usability of the library are demonstrated through an implemented web application that utilizes its computational capabilities, as well as through several diverse experiments.
