Abstract

Thesis is focused on development aid and development cooperation of the European union, which is led up to Africa. Relations between EU and Africa have had long history, have had different forms, today EU is important development aid provider in Africa. Aim of bachelor’s thesis is to describe development aid and development cooperation as a part of external relations of EU and to focus on current and past form of relations between EU and Africa. On the basis of selected examples decribe and evaluate development cooperation and development aid of EU in Africa. While procesing of thesis were primary used methods of deduction, analysis and comparasion.
