Analýza vybraných křižovatek ve městě Šumperk

Abstract

The subject of the thesis is the analysis and design of modifications of selected intersections in the town of Šumperk with the aim of increasing traffic safety and intersection capacity. The work includes traffic surveys, analysis of traffic flows, conflict situations and traffic accidents. Improvement options were proposed, focusing on changes in the signal plan. Intersection modifications were proposed based on this data using microsimulation models in PTV VISSIM software. Furthermore, a comparison of the proposed modifications with the current condition and with each other is made using statistical methods.
