Požární odolnost dřevěných konstrukcí

Abstract

This bachelor's thesis focuses on the design and structural analysis of a timber-framed house utilizing a heavy timber frame system made of glued laminated timber. The introductory part is dedicated to the theoretical background of the fire resistance of timber structures and methods of analysis. This is followed by the design of the layout, structural compositions, and the overall structural solution of the building, including load calculations. The assessment of individual components is based on a 3D model created in the RFEM structural analysis software, which provided the values of internal forces and deformations. The final section focusses on the fire resistance assessment of selected load-bearing components and structural compositions, as well as the design and assessment of connections. The thesis is supplemented by a set of drawings of the designed building and selected construction details.
