Abstract

Diploma thesis deals with the change of legal form of company JOBO (private entrepreneur). It assesses the transformation of the trade business to a Limited company. Diploma thesis is divided into three main parts. The first part deals with the theoretical definition of business self-employed, a limited company and tax, legal and accounting aspects which defining the main differences between these two forms of business. The second part uses the methods of personal interview, observation and Swot analysis to assess the transformation process on a limited company, the economic situation of both companies and competitiveness of companies. The aim was to identify the advantages and disadvantages of long-term process of transformation. Activity of a limited company is operated in parallel with existing company JOBO (private entrepreneur). The third part based on collected data suggests and recommends to both companies further appropriate steps regarding the implementation and finalization of the transformation and choice of suitable development strategies.
