Abstract

This bachelor thesis focuses on the evaluation of the employee benefit system currently used in a selected company. The aim of the thesis is to assess the current benefit system and to offer recommendations for possible improvements, which would lead to higher employee satisfaction and motivation. In the theoretical part, the process of motivating and rewarding employees is described. There is also the characterization of legal, tax and economic aspects of employee benefits. The practical part contains an introduction of the selected company as well as its employee benefits. Individual employee benefits are described together with their total annual cost. Based on the questionnaire, there is an evaluation of the respondents’ preferences presented and a total assessment of the employee benefit system is provided as well. Lastly, there are recommendations offered to the company, that would help to improve employee satisfaction and motivation.
