Strategické riadenie priemyselného podniku

Abstract

The aim of this thesis is to create a strategic analysis of the company Považská cementáreň, a.s. and to recommend a suitable strategy as a prerequisite for the successful business development for the future. This is done by using the methods and tools of the company´s strategic analysis. The thesis is dividend into a theoretical and a practical part. The theoretical part explains the strategic analysis and the most frequently used methods and tools for external analysis of company´s macro and micro-environment. Such methods and tools are also used in the creation of the practical part. The analysis itself is created using PESTEL analysis, the Porter Five-Power Model and SWOT analysis. At the end of the thesis recommendations for the company are suggested based on the results of the external analysis.
