Ekonomické a ekologické aspekty údržby zeleně v centru města Ostravy

Abstract

This thesis deals with the system of the public greenery maintenance implementation in the Central District of the City Ostrava - Moravska Ostrava and Privoz. In the first part, there is mentioned and described the current state of the public greenery maintenance and expenses from the District budget flowing in the urban green areas care during 2005-2009. Furthermore, there is defined the characteristic of the maintenance process and conditions of the contractors´ services, including up-to-date check mechanisms. In the next part of the thesis, there are listed particular steps to realise new outplantings in the city, the benefit of trees for the urban environment is described as well. Subsequently, there are generally stated functional kinds of the greenery. In conclusion, you can find a brief evaluation of the information gained.
