Abstract
This thesis focuses on the analysis of employee satisfaction in TESCO SW PLC. The theoretical part is focused on knowledge of the professional literature concerning employee satisfaction (different conceptions of employee satisfaction and their characteristics, factors of satisfaction, impact of satisfaction and dissatisfaction on performance, absenteeism and fluctuation, methods of examining employee satisfaction). The research of this work includes the combination of quantitative and qualitative methods (author’s questionnaire, semi-structured interview). The main aim of this analysis is to determine the overall employee satisfaction, individual factors influencing job satisfaction or dissatisfaction and influence of the factors on overall employee satisfaction. Last but not least, the aim is to find out what factors of job satisfaction the employees consider as important. The analysis results are the concrete suggestions and recommendations on how to increase employee satisfaction.
