Srovnání vývoje skupiny Severočeské doly a skupiny Czech Coal od privatizace

Abstract

The topic of the Bachelor Thesis is a comparison of two companies involved in the same core business, but with different ownership forms and appointment of Management: the North Bohemia Coal Mining Group and the Czech Coal Group. The North Bohemia Coal Mining Company Group is controlled by the Management that is appointed by the main shareholder: the ČEZ plc. (Czech Power Company), where the structure and approval of the Management are subject to the Ministry of Finance, whilst the Czech Coal Group is controlled by the Management that is 100% - appointed by the owner. The purpose is to discover if different manners of Management appointment and ownership structures influence the economic performance and structure of the business entities.
