Webový informační systém: Hrady a zámky z pohledu geovědního turismu seniorů

Abstract

This bachelor thesis deals with the creation of an informative web portal for seniors interested in castles and chateaux in terms of geoscience tourism. Whole work is divided into five main parts. In the first part, I focused on the specifics of older people, problems connected with the older age and problems surrounding the aging of our population. The next part includes the characteristics of the University of Third Age (U3V), the U3V position at the Faculty of Mining and Geology, as well as the seniors' activity in the field of informatics and geosciences. In the third part, I analysed castles and chateaus from the point of view of geology. But first, I dealt with the geological structure of the Czech Republic, the topography of the Czech Republic and how important it is in selecting a strategic location. I then described rocks that were most commonly used and also played an important role in the construction of castles and chateaux. I also mentioned accessories used by medieval builders. At the end of the section on geology, I chose ten interest sites according to the criteria I mentioned in chapter five. In the practical part I worked on the design and creation of the informative web portal.
