Abstract

This bachelor’s thesis focuses on the design and development of a comprehensive web application for a flower farm, with the goal of creating a website that, in addition to presenting the offered products and services, allows customers to place orders for products and services through a method other than social media, thereby diversifying the ordering options. The thesis begins with a theoretical foundation covering general principles of web application development, followed by a detailed analysis of requirements, technological stack choices, and user interface (UI) design principles. Wireframes were created in close collaboration with the client, leading to a responsive design optimized for both desktop and mobile devices. The practical part includes the implementation of the presentation layer, backend logic, and database integration, using technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP, and MySQL. The final application, which includes a fully functional order form, was deployed on a web server and subjected to thorough testing to ensure its quality and user experience. The thesis emphasizes modularity, allowing for future expansion, such as the integration of more advanced e-commerce features.
