Japonsko na cestě k fiskální konsolidaci

Abstract

Diplomová práce je zaměřena na fiskální konsolidaci veřejných financí v Japonsku od konce 80. let do současnosti. Cílem diplomové práce je charakterizovat a objasnit stav veřejných financí a úroveň veřejného dluhu v Japonsku a tuto problematiku komparovat se stavem veřejných financí ve Spojených státech a zemích Evropské unie, zejména v poslední dekádě. Důraz je kladen také na vymezení hlavních faktorů, které přispěly k nárůstu jejich veřejného dluhu. Druhá kapitola práce obsahuje specifika a vývoj japonského hospodářství od poválečných dob až do současnosti. V třetí kapitole je uvedena fiskální nerovnováha v Japonsku a realizace fiskálních opatření japonských vlád od konce 80. let. Čtvrtá kapitola objasňuje stav veřejných financí a úroveň veřejného zadlužení v Japonsku, Spojených státech a členských zemích EU.

The diploma thesis is focused on fiscal consolidation of public finances in Japan since the late 80's to the present. The aim of the thesis is to describe and explain the state of public finances and the level of public debt in Japan and that issue compare with the state of public finances in the United States and European Union countries, especially in the last decade. Emphasis is put on the definition of the main factors that contributed to an increase their public debt. The second chapter contains the specifics and the development of the Japanese economy since the post-war times to the present. In the third chapter there is a fiscal imbalance in Japan and the implementation of fiscal measures Japanese governments since the late 80´s. The fourth chapter explains the state of public finances and public debt in Japan, the United States and EU member states.
