Abstract

I have chosen this topic of my bachelor thesis because I really like travelling and I am interested in this area. I have chosen the Kyjov city for my thesis because it is very closed to me and I would like to find out more information about it and analyse it. I have concerned with a tourism in theoretic part of this thesis. I have selected a few spheres of tourism and I have gradually analysed them. In the chapter about culture I have put mind to the cultural development, it’s impression of people´s life and it’s general benefits for the tourism. The practical part of my thesis is talking about the Kyjov city and it’s immediate environs. I was interested in characterizatics of the Kyjov city, it’s history and monuments. I have mentioned the vineculture and it’s tourism and also local gastronomy, the traditional folklor and the description of local folk costumes. This part of my bachelor thesis is finished by the SWOT analysis, which helps us to find out the level of the traditional folk cultural events in Kyjov and it‘s tourism development.
